PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Li-LA-LO JEWELLERY STORE
SYNTAGMA,ATHENS

The renovated LILALO store in Syntagma draws its inspiration from the natural rock formations of the earth, the source from which precious stones are born. The architectural composition focuses on the relationship between material, light, and texture, creating an environment that highlights the earthly origin of the jewelry.

On the ceiling, a luminous spiral organizes the space and serves as a central reference point. From this focal element, a glass sculpture is suspended, whose reflections emphasize the materiality and constructional delicacy of the whole.

The floor is clad in reddish tile–stone, upon which the brand’s golden emblem–symbol is imprinted. On the walls and ceiling, kourasani with red sand is applied, creating a unified surface that embraces the space. Bright slits, shaped with the emblem–symbol, pierce these surfaces, introducing light as an active architectural component.

Freestanding glass showcases guide the visitor’s flow and experience, allowing the jewelry to stand out through transparency and reflection. On the façade, a horizontal glass display framed by a green curtain intensifies the presence of gold and other precious materials.

Stone, used as the base for the furniture, acts as the earthly foundation of the composition — a connecting link between natural matter and the refinement of design.
