PROJECT DESCRIPTION
LA PASTERIA RESTAURANT
COSMOS THESSALONIKI
This is the first restaurant of the La Pasteria chain in Thessaloniki.
The open kitchen is located towards the main entrance.
The dining areas are distinguished in three different zones of the restaurant. One on each side of the kitchen and one near the entrance.
The big bar and the cellar are located on the right side of the kitchen area.
This was the first time that a retail area selling mostly standardized Italian products was designed in a La Pasteria restaurant. Also for the first time the firm used a part of the bar as an Italian tapas corner.
Classic elements of Italian architecture (such as stripes on the wall surfaces and ceiling decoratives) and furniture that one could find in an Italian trattoria were combined with modern elements of lighting and furniture.
With the use of proper lighting, materials such as unprocessed wood and metal help create a unique atmosphere.
