PROJECT DESCRIPTION
LA PASTERIA RESTAURANT
AGHIA PARASKEVI, ATHENS
The restaurant is deployed in three levels: the basement with auxiliary uses and W.C., the ground floor which includes warm, cold kitchen, bar and lounge with a seating area outside in communication with the inside, and finally the first floor with seating.
The ground floor is elevated from the road and creates privacy to the outdoor seating.
Classic Italian traditional architectural elements (stripes narrow and wide to the wall surfaces, frames, ornaments, Italian trattoria-style furniture) are combined with modern elements (lamps, furniture etc.).
In several surfaces the existing stone structure of the building was highlighted. Materials were used in their natural form (wood, metal, cement) in order to create a unique atmosphere combined with lighting.
