PROJECT DESCRIPTION

VACATION HOUSE
PARADISIA, MYKONOS

House on 3 levels in a plot with high inclination.
The main entrance was placed on the upper level, that includes 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms.
A direct entrance was also created, through a stair-tunnel that leads to the medium level with living room, dining room, kitchen and main outdoor living spaces by the pool. On the lower level, independent guest houses are developed.
White irregular rocker plaster, local stone, blue traditional-styled frames, wooden floor, limestone paving’s, roofs from chestnut beams and boards are the basic materials. The volumes are developed stepwise following the slope.
Elements of local architecture were used, domes, chimneys, “eyebrows” in the headers, alcoves, and pergolas of chestnut and reeds.
