PROJECT DESCRIPTION
APARTMENT
LYCABETTUS, ATHENS
The project is about the renovation of a two level apartment. On the first level lie an open plan lounge and dining room, and the kitchen in a recess. The interior staircase leads to the lower level, which houses the bedroom and the bedroom-office, while a second staircase, on the edge of the living room, is connecting the apartment with the roof. There, radical changes took place, which transformed the terrace into a pleasant open space, overlooking Athens.
The unobstructed view from the house emerged with clean design lines and large windows.
In living rooms two living-rooms where developed, one round of the fireplace and the other with view towards the city. The dining room was placed next to the kitchen and isolated by a glass partition from the living room.
Distinctive designed and manufactured furniture define the functions of the premises.
On the lower level the bathroom and the bedroom were fully renovated.
On the roof-terrace a pergola was constructed and a seating area with views was created.
