PROJECT DESCRIPTION
CARPO NUTS, CHOCOLATE & COFFEE
PSYCHIKO, ATTICA
This is the third store of the Carpo chain following the ones at Kolonaki and London, with a surface of 62.50m2. The stores sell freshly baked nuts, fresh grinded coffee, sundried fruits and handmade chocolate.
The existence of a loft that occupies half of the ground floor surface creates a two storey high façade, which gives the opportunity to have a big entrance door and high interior walls that aid the exhibition of products and highlight elements of the design.
Creating a retractable frame on the facade, together with external standing stands “exposes” the coffee zone in the public area and defines the entry, the basic movement towards the interior of the store and the functional areas of the site.
The auxiliary stair of the loft that was hidden behind the wall, in the store depth, leaves for exploitation a uniform space.
The essential packaging materials (sacks, bags, cans etc) and the products were used as parts of the scenery and decoration.
The materials used were in their naturals forms (wood, metal, marble).
