PROJECT DESCRIPTION
NUTS, CHOCOLATE AND COFFEE STORE IN LONDON
No 7 MONTPELIER STREET, KNIGHTSBRIDGE, GREAT BRITAIN
CARPO stores combine the sale of dried nuts oven- baked inside the shop, freshly grinded coffee, dried fruit and handmade chocolate.
The new store is situated in the center of London, an area with mostly commercial activity.
This is the fourth store of the chain store. The aim was both to maintain the identity of previous stores and introduce new architectural elements that will evolve and renew the image of stores.
In a surface area of 74.16t.m. were developed clearly separated functional zones, and materials and colors were combined together. For the first time in the chain store a separate seating area was introduced, in the intermediate of space between baking zone and cashier.
Creating a retractable frame on the face, together with external standing stands “exposes” the coffee zone in the public area and defines the entry, basic movement towards the interior of the store and the functional areas of the site.
Perforated metal, special lighting and the very products of packaging materials, were used as stage design and decoration (sacks, cans, bags, etc.).
Materials: black and white tile to brick shape, Swedish wood gray-brown color, oak brushed in natural color, black metal, marble color brown.
